KJV How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

KJV Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;

DRB They are all gone aside, they are become unprofitable together: there is none that doth good: no not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they acted deceitfully: the poison of asps is under their lips. Their mouth is full of cursing and bitterness; their feet are swift to shed blood. Destruction and unhappiness in their ways; and the way of peace they have not known: there is no fear of God before their eyes.

Verse 4

KJV Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

ASV Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; [Lest] mine adversaries rejoice when I am moved.
