Passage
How blessed is he who keeps waiting and reaches the 1,335 days!
How blessed is he who keeps waiting and reaches the 1,335 days!
Daniel 12:10 Many will be purged, purified, and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand.
Daniel 12:11 But from the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.
Daniel 12:12 How blessed is he who keeps waiting and reaches the 1,335 days!
Daniel 12:13 But as for you, go your way to the end; then you will enter into rest and stand again for your allotted portion at the end of the days.”
The verse centers on "blessed", "keeps", "waiting", "reaches", and "days". It is saying that the verse draws attention to "blessed" and "keeps", so its meaning should be read from those terms before moving to application.
The nearby context moves from verse 11's "But from the time that the regular..." into verse 13's "But as for you go your way...", so "blessed" and "keeps" belong inside that flow. In Daniel context, the local focus is covenant, worship, and faithfulness.
A plain takeaway is to answer the verse's own emphasis on "blessed" and "keeps" with trust shaped by these words, not by a vague optimism outside the passage.
