Study Lenses

The verse centers on "such", "i--doth", "flee", "temple", and "live". It is saying that the verse draws attention to "such" and "i--doth", so its meaning should be read from those terms before moving to application.

The nearby context moves from verse 10's "And I have entered the house of..." into verse 12's "And I discern and lo God hath...", so "such" and "i--doth" belong inside that flow. In Nehemiah context, the local focus is covenant, worship, and faithfulness.

A plain takeaway is to answer the verse's own emphasis on "such" and "i--doth" with trust shaped by these words, not by a vague optimism outside the passage.
