Study Lenses

The verse centers on "overcoming--i", "give", "throne", "overcome", "down", and "father". It is saying that the verse draws attention to "overcoming--i" and "give", so its meaning should be read from those terms before moving to application.

The nearby context moves from verse 20's "lo I have stood at the door..." into verse 22's "He who is having an ear--let him...", so "overcoming--i" and "give" belong inside that flow. In Revelation context, the local focus is Christ, faith, and discipleship.

A plain takeaway is to answer the verse's own emphasis on "overcoming--i" and "give" with trust shaped by these words, not by a vague optimism outside the passage.
