Study Lenses

The verse centers on "shall", "dwell", "judah", "cities", "thereof", "together", "husbandmen", and "forth". It is saying that the verse draws attention to "shall" and "dwell", so its meaning should be read from those terms before moving to application.

The nearby context moves from verse 23's "Thus saith the LORD of hosts the..." into verse 25's "For I have satiated the weary soul...", so "shall" and "dwell" belong inside that flow. In Jeremiah context, the local focus is covenant, worship, and faithfulness.

A plain takeaway is to answer the verse's own emphasis on "shall" and "dwell" with trust shaped by these words, not by a vague optimism outside the passage.
